INFORMATION ABOUT OUR WORKSHOPS
I offer an interactive, science based workshop that explores the strength based approach to positive psychology. We will discuss research on happiness for the purpose of developing improved personal well-being. My classes include class discussion, group interaction, fun activities, and personal reflection. I also share practical applications of this evidence based research that can be put to use immediately by the participants to help them live a full and meaningful life. My workshops consist of a one day introduction to Positive psychology to a six week or longer study where participants will acquire knowledge and practical tips they need to make positive changes in their lives.
The key concepts that will be discussed are: optimism, strengths, flow, gratitude, positive emotions, purpose and meaning, goal achievement, mind-body connections, relationships, choice, and lasting change.
In my interactive workshops participants will have the opportunity to learn:
- why knowing and using strengths is important to happiness
- what makes you feel really motivated
- how can we gain a sense of fulfillment
- what are the factors that allow us to live longer and healthier lives
- how we can achieve better relationships in our lives
- what tools can we use to increase our positivity
My workshops aim to introduce participants to the most affective strategies that they can adapt in their own lives to achieve a flourishing and fulfilling life.

Designing your Life – Tuesday March 5, 2019 6:30-8Pm 3 sessions
This is your life, how do you choose to live it? Are you stuck and not sure what you want? Come to this workshop to proactively look at all aspects of your whole being and how you can design the life that you would like to live. By looking at your strengths, values and passions you can begin to reset your compass to know how you want to live a joyful life with a sense of harmony and well-being. By checking in with your SPICE for life – spiritual, physical, intellectual, connection, and emotional parts of your self you never stop designing your life and continuing to grow. During this 3 session course you will think about your life, imagine and dream, and begin to create a plan to live it to it’s fullest.
